Hey everyone, i was reading over the Marquette Michigan forecast discussion late this afternoon and the forecaster mentioned the possibility for a snowstorm over Western Upper Michigan toward Thursday (May 11th), the forecaster was talking about the GFS model and how they show the 850 mb temperatures dropping down to between minus 2 and minus 4 degrees next Thursday..which would be cold enough for snow. Apparantly this isn't too unusual..if it were to happen according to the meteorologist in Marquette, i guess back in 1990 they had a snow event in Upper Michigan in May. So just something that kinda caught my attention..thought i'd share that with you all.
take care everyone
